Description
Raw shelled pistachios are ready for the kitchen right away. Their rich green and delicate, gently sweet aroma come into their own in pastries, ice cream, cakes, pesto and fillings. Chopped or ground they give baklava, cookies and creams colour and flavour, and over yoghurt or rice they make a neat finish. If you prefer them roasted, warm them briefly in a pan or in the oven. They look especially pretty as a green accent that catches the eye at once on cakes, tarts and desserts. We pack the pistachios in our roastery in Markkleeberg and send them across Germany.
